Melissa's Microlecture Process

A microlecture is a brief (ideally under ten minutes) video recording that explains a single concept or topic. The microlecture format encourages educators to leverage what we know about the science of learning. Effective microlectures scale content down to the essentials learners need to know and understand to be successful.


In this video, Melissa Wehler describes her microlecture creation process. In addition to talking about tools like Google Docs, Canva, and Screencast-O-Matic, she also discusses the "why" behind what she's doing.
