What are alternatives for time-based media?

We use alternatives to support people with certain disabilities who will not be able to perceive information communicated through moving images or sound.


Alternatives for time-based media include transcripts for media containing audio or video, synchronized captions for recorded video (or live captions for live video containing audio), audio descriptions for recorded video, and sign language for media containing audio.
